Urgent!! Suggestions needed for my community aquarium!!

Postby astrokash » Tue Dec 24, 2013 4:55 pm

hello! im new to be an aquarist. Recently i have bought a 155 litre tank with dimensions 72 x 38 x 45 (LxWxH)inches. i have planned to decorate it with plastic plants and white sand substrate.

-- does a combination of 5 Guppies(2 male & 3 female), 5 mollies(2 male & 3 female) and 10 neon tetras go well? will they be happy and act natural?

-- what kind of filter shall i use for better water quality?

Needed suggestions.. please..
Thanks in advance.. ;plo)

I assume you meant cm and not inches as a tank over 6ft would be more than 155litres.
Real plants are appreciated more by fish than artificial ones and you can buy easy to grow plants like amazon sword and vallis just to name a couple. I like the fluval range of filters, just look for one suited to your tank, you will just need to decide if you want an internal or a smaller external filter. I do find platys are usually hardier than mollies.
