oranda red caps fry hatched # 1 group 25 Dec. and # 2 1 Jan.
pictured are parents with the egg nest. and fry growing. now at age 40 day the oldest begin to demelanize, loosing their baby grey and colouring up a little.

Great post there Michael, and very interesting as we don't get a lot of cold-water tank posts on here and I sort of louse touch with that side of fishkeeping...... :thu:
If it has fin's and swim's I'm interested in it....

Hi superdart, yes I have noted a lack of intrest in CWT, perhaps that is why I do not frequent this forum too often. but I do breed guppys, lots of guppys and gambusia.

its fascinating to see them change and alter their shape and colouration. I have never bred orandas so its really great to see these.

these redcap oranda have been kicked outside and now live in green water with the growing lily pads.
