What fish to stock my tank with ?

Postby Teacupxx » Thu Nov 17, 2016 6:34 pm

Hi my 80L tropical fish tank up and running for 3 weeks now.

It has a slate grey solid background with heavily planted sections and fertiliser and a black sand substrate.

I currently have 5 celestial pearl danio, 5 ember tetra, 3 ottos and 3 Cory's.

I'm planing on getting 5 clown killifish

And some cherry shrimp

I'm looking for 1 other small species of schooling fish (around same size as ones above) witch are compatible with cherry shrimp!

What I want to know is what green / blue fish species fall into this category?
Online I've seen Sundadanio axelrodi as a very blue sparkling fish however the only ones I've seen selling are from eBay and in the pictures they are completely blank/black.

In addition what colour cherry shrimp too?

If anyone knows any more fish that I do please feel free to suggest and help is welcome!!

PS I'm not very keen on neons or cardinals.

It will have to be something smallish. I know they are not blue but what do you think of threadfin rainbow fish. They have tiny throats so not a threat to cherry shrimp. Rams etc would just pick off shrimp and would push your stock limits
Add another couple of corydoras, they do better in groups of at least 4.
