update

Postby fishlover10 » Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:54 pm

havent been on in a while so thought id do a little update on my tank. i havent added anything to my tank since last post and currently have 1 red-tailed black shark, 22 neon tetra's and 4 baby swordtails. in total i have lost all 15 corydoras, all 3 swordtail adults, 3 neon tetra's, both sailfin pleco's. i still havent released the baby swordtails into the tank yet but 1of them are almost the size of the neons so i may put him in by the end of the week and the others are quite small still so hopefully sharing there 'small' cage thing with only 3 instead of 4 would increase there growth rate. the tank is lookin quite bare with only neons and a red-tail black shark in so i am thinkin of addin a new type of tetra which is smaller or same size as neons and only want 5-10 plus good for mixed tanks so if anyone has any ideas, please post, thanks

Watch your redtail shark for beconing a real pain. Blue tetra or glass bloodfin tetra are slightly larger than neons but are nice fish as are rummynose. Black neons are another choice.

sadly i came in on the night i made this post to find 2 of my baby swordtails dead(both the green swortails and the other 2 are both red) :( but i have introduced the largest 1 of the remaining 2 into the tank and it is doing well, while i have left the other 1 in the cage thing. also i think that the glass bloodfin tetra would look nice with the other fish in the tank so il keep them in mind for the next time im at the shop.
