Need advice about buying some equipment or wish to write a review.

Hi can anyone tell me is the juwel compact filters any good ? I justbrought a 2nd hand tank that comes with the compact filter but no media/ sponges..,.I wanted some advice b4 I went ahead and brought them in case I shpuld get a new filter all together. The tank I brought is a 180 litres juwel tank. Mamy thanks x

They are ok, I had a juwel tank with the internal filter and it did keep the tank clean and had a good turn over.

I have a tank with the juwel filter - I also run an external. The juwel filter keeps the tank clean, water crystal clear. I give the filter pad a rinse when I do a water change. The big external stays really clean, I only clean that one when the flow starts to drop, maybe once a year. So I would say the the majority of the debris gets picked up by the juwel internal. If the jewel internal is working, I would keep it and see how you get on..
