UV lighting for growing plants and fish

Postby daisydelilah2012 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:56 pm

Hi there,

I have got a 60 litre tank that is up and running and doing well, other than for one thing....

The light that I have is (I am told as I inherited it) a 'growing' light.

I have been told by my fish shop that I need to have a stronger light to help the plants grow, as they are not getting any natural light, at least not any direct light.

Does anyone know what I should be looking for exactly, and where I could get it?

It sounds like you have a 'Grolux' tube, is it a built in light?
