Dolphin F800 Internal Filter

Need some help or advice quickly.

Dolphin F800 Internal Filter

Postby laurasa » Sat Jul 23, 2011 3:40 pm

Hi there - I've just joined the forum and I have a problem with my filter - perhaps you can help? My son has a 30 liter freshwater tank with 2 small yellow comets. Recently a friend bought him a Dolphin F800 internal filter as he was having a problem with algae growing in the gravel. I thought I'd put the filter in the tank today but cannot find where the venturi joins on to the filter. I know the venturi should hang outside the tank but where does it join on the unit???
If anyone can help you would end my very frustrating day!!!
Thanks so much.

I'm not familiar with this particular filter but the 'venturi' connection is normally on top of the water outlet where you attach a piece of air line and keep it above the water line.
This may explain it better. http://hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Use-A-Venturi
