Got me thinking about how much weight.

Fancy telling us about ways you have saved money by doing it yourself or want advice on a future project.

Excellent

Well tomorrow I am going to have the floor up and go from there I might get lucky that they is a concrete base/footing under my floor

or really lucky that the joints are already resting on the concrete base (Me day dreaming again)

I will do and i have my fingers crossed

As if it dose not work out I have 2 options

1. Sell tank and get something smaller which I really don't want to do
2. Rip up wifes new lino and live on the sofa for a few weeks.

If you had a glass cutter and a bit of time on your hands you could split the tank into a bigger on and a smaller one which or even two equally sized ones but as I know you have a sump a bigger one and a smaller one would be better
When in doubt get another tank.
I keep water the fish are just for decoration.

Luck is on my side for the 1st time ever.

Drilled 2 x 75mm holes next to 2 different joists and they are resting on a concrete base so I guess my house has a full concrete base under it and not just footings for the walls not like my last house as it was mud under my ground floor floor boards.

I forgot to say thank you for all the advice.

It was just nice for something to work in my favour for a change.

I have had my tank for 2 months now and still no set-up date as I want to get it right so even if it takes me another 2-4 months till water gets in it I don't mind as it will be worth the wait.
